- Registration of companies, general, limited, and limited liability partnerships, and business names that carry out operations on behalf of the directors interested in mining, energy and agricultural operations.
- Negotiation, preparation and review of different energy-related agreements including power purchase agreements and project agreements with the key sector players.
- Advising and leading the acquisition of properties from individuals and communities surrounding project sites and energy farms.
Representative experience:
- Advised international and local investors on the complex regulatory requirements for mining precious stones and metals, including the successful application and acquisition of gold trading licenses.
- Represented mining companies in high-stakes negotiations with local communities, successfully securing agreements on royalty distributions and land use that ensured long-term project stability.
- Conducted due diligence and led the strategic acquisition of large-scale land parcels from individuals and communities to facilitate the development of project sites and energy farms.
- Drafted and negotiated critical energy-sector instruments, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and project agreements with key government and private sector players.
- Guided directors and stakeholders through the registration and structuring of special-purpose vehicles (SPVs), including companies and limited liability partnerships tailored for mining, energy, and large-scale agricultural operations.
- Assisted energy and mining firms with ongoing legal compliance and regulatory reporting, ensuring all operations align with the specific statutory frameworks governing the extractive and renewable energy sectors.
